When I was exploring how to do my first comic book in this genre (dreaming up “The Cosmic Survivor” c. 2014). I practiced my technique by trying to make my version of what a Marvel cover would look like from start to finish. I wanted to get my art approach down pat before starting on a full book. Also, my Marvel portfolio featuring the X-Men vs. Brotherhood of Evil Mutants submitted back in the mid 90’s. Recently I added Marvel pinup style pages with ink & watercolor art for Comic Art Live.
